We always get psyched for Earth Day. It makes sense--we’re an adventurous bunch and we tend to spend our free time recreating in and appreciating the great outdoors. For most of us, getting outside has added a beautiful and exciting dimension to our climbing.

Everyone, meet Maelyn! Maelyn has been working in the climbing industry for the past few years, and we are beyond excited to announce that she is stepping into the role of Assistant Gym Director for our Design District location!
Here is a little bit more about Maelyn in her own words - I grew up in the Dallas area and joined the DFW climbing community later in life in 2016. The past six years I've fallen in love with not only with the sport, but also with the delightful people that make up its community. I'm excited to join the Movement team to continue to grow the community and introduce new faces to the sport we all know and love. When I'm not climbing, you'll probably find me at a coffee shop with friends or hanging out at a park with my terrier-mix Jack.
